2017 Petley-Hare Eggstravaganza: Making a Difference in Our Community

One of the core values established and practiced by the team from Petley-Hare Limited Insurance Brokers pertains to making a difference in the communities of Durham Region. To satisfy and perpetuate this commitment, Petley-Hare sponsors and coordinates many initiatives across the Region, including an Annual Easter Eggstravaganza in association with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oshawa-Whitby and the Boys and Girls Club of Durham.

A Woman Posing for a PictureOn the morning of April 16, 2017, the Petley-Hare team hosted their 4th Annual Easter Eggstravaganza at the picturesque Oshawa Golf & Curling Club, and by all accounts, this event was another resounding success. The morning’s festivities began with a delicious pancake breakfast, followed by an enthusiastic egg hunt on the premises of the golf club. All the children in attendance then proceeded to a fun fair where they could participate in various games while snacking on freshly-made popcorn and cotton candy.

Petley-Hare Limited is proud to partner with Big Brothers Big Sisters of Oshawa-Whitby and the Boys and Girls Club of Durham on this Annual Easter Eggstravaganza; this fun-filled day aligns well with the respective mandates of these organizations:

  • To enhance the social, emotional, and mental well-being of children and youth
  • To provide recreational and social development programs for children in Durham
